Molluscum Contagiosum
Molluscum Contagiosum is a common, contagious viral skin infection causing small, dome-shaped, pearly bumps with a central dimple, often on the face, trunk, and genitals. The lesions are may persist, especially in people with weakened immune systems. Treatments range from self-care and topical medications to in-office procedures like cryotherapy (freezing) or curettage (scraping).
